Over the last two years, we committed to donating meals from every bottle of Oatnog sold to The Felix Project. Thanks to all your support, we’re delighted to be donating a total of 56,942 meals to vulnerable people across London.
Why did we choose to donate to The Felix Project?
Back in summer of 2022, it was clear that the winter months would be harder than ever for the most vulnerable in London with the cost of living crisis looming. So for us, it was a unanimous decision to choose The Felix Project as our Oatnog charity. Having seen the incredible impact of The Felix Project, and volunteering ourselves last year, we were excited to partner once more in 2023.
Right now millions of people in the UK regularly experience hunger. The Felix Project have set out to change this. This incredible charity is fighting hunger and food waste across the capital, by rescuing surplus food from going to landfill and delivering it to over 1,000 charities, schools and local organisations.
The Donation: 56,942 meals in total.
We’re truly thankful for your support and so pleased to be donating a total of 56,942 meals through this fantastic organisation. This food will reach Londoners who need it the most: children, families, the elderly, the homeless, domestic abuse survivors, refugees and migrants. Healthy meals reaching the most vulnerable in our society.

Black Lines volunteering at The Felix Project.
After learning about the incredible work that The Felix Project do, we wanted to lend a hand ourselves last year. So seven of the Black Lines team headed to the kitchen HQ to volunteer with meal preparation.
Our task? Chopping onions. Plenty of them, plenty of tears too. But the morale in the kitchen was second to none. Speaking to others in our group, there were many regulars who help at The Felix Project every week. The organisation simply can’t exist without the volunteers: 90% of the work is through them.
We loved having the chance to be involved in directly contributing to the distribution of the meals. Every hour of time donated to The Felix Project equates to 250 meals to Londoners. If you’re interested, we’d hugely recommend signing up with your company or as an individual.
Oatnog, wrapped.
So that’s it. Oatnog wrapped for this winter. Thank you again, for all of your support. We’re raring to go for Spring now. Passion Fruit Martini anyone?
