The Standard Hotel in Kings Cross is quite literally taking Black Lines to new levels.
Since it’s opening in 2019, The Standard, London has set the bar frighteningly high in how cool a hotel can be. The renovation experts at the Standard have taken this beautiful 1974 Brutalist structure overlooking King’s Cross St. Pancras and turned it into a 266 room dreamland. It now boasts 3 restaurants, multiple bars, townhouses, a rooftop bar overlooking London, a studio, outdoor baths and now, a fortress for Black Lines Drinks. Hard to believe that is used to be Camden Town Hall Annexe. Chic turnaround.

With more versions of The Standard popping up around the globe, the ambition from their team seems to be limitless. They break conforms, disrupt the hotel status quo and are literally turning things on their head. We knew we had to get involved, and now, ‘involved’ would be an understatement. Now you can find Black Lines in every nook and cranny at The Standard; On The Rooftop, In The Minibars, At The Double Standard and via Room Service. Here, there & everywhere, one would argue.
So where exactly are the Black Lines drinks within the Hotel?
The Double Standard on the ground floor of the hotel is a lowly lit 70’s Americana inspired restaurant & bar which could easily be the set of a Tarantino. Along with a London inspired pub food menu & local beers, the bar is now equipped with Black Lines Pear & White Tea Fizz and Paloma, on tap.
The Rooftop, with arguably one of the best skyline views of Central London hosts a triplet of Black Lines favourites; Rum Punch, Spicy Tommy’s Margarita & Elderflower Collins. These three quaffable hits are also available as pitchers. Cocktails on tap 2.0.
For those celebrating in style, room service also offers our 500ML bottle of Espresso Martini, which comes with the full shaker kit.
And lastly, as expected, it all ends in the bedroom. Each rooms minibar is stocked with Black Lines Negroni & Spicy Tommy’s pocket serves. Meaning when you’re too tired even to call room service, those cosy mornings, or evenings, in bed are as straightforward as possible when in need of a cocktail.
